I'm coning to Makeni soon - some questions!!!

Hi Alice! I used to be a VSO volunteer in Mozambique about 5 years ago and I have just accepted a 2 year contract in Makeni with Christian Aid. So I really just wanted to know what life is like living and working in makeni? I'll be working for the ENCISS programme - maybe you have heard of it? Is it easy to meet locals in Makeni and are there many Westerners living there? What is the price of rent as I've heard it's quite expensive? What is the general price of life out there? It would be great to hear about how you have found it out so feel free to rell me as much info as you want - I won't be bored reading it by any means.
